Mom's parents, Cilka and Lazar Richman were immigrants from a small village near Kiev, Russia called Little Constantine. She was born in 1883 and he in 1881. Cilka always had a business and Lazar was more than happy to take the kids on weekend day trips. A truly modern marriage! Lazar owned a jewelry store in Brooklyn NY. A fond memory of Mom's was her dad giving her a pile of brightly colored semi precious stones to play with. She had a very happy childhood.
